At Woombye Childcare and Kindergarten we do things a little differently.  If you haven't already visited we'd really recommend that you come along and see what we do.    We make a point of listening and giving time to children's ideas and we believe creativity is as important as literacy, science and  mathematics. We also value play, nature and the outdoors as especially important to children's learning and development.

Located at 29 Blackall Street, in the main street, ideally positioned between the doctor and dentist, opposite the bakery, chemist and Spa supermarket, this Centre is a exceeding rated service,providing care and education since 1989 for children 15months to school age.  We offer Long day care..Government approved Kindergarten sessions and Bush Kinda coordinated by Wilding's Forest School for children over 3 years.    We offer the opportunity of  sessions, and extended before after hours, with full day care between the  hours of 7.30am to 5.30pm  50 weeks a year and closed on public holidays.

Our centre is set in a beautiful old Queenslander, offering many rooms and spaces with lots of natural light  and huge garden outdoor spaces. We make the environment inspiring by offering lots of open-ended, natural and recycled resources. for the children to add their imaginations and creativity.  Spaces include an art studio, loose parts space, library, dining areas, tool shed, mud pits and kitchens, large loose parts construction deck, ball and balance space, dance studio with piano, a wild/ fairy and music garden.
